Below are the two reprints of the Ruler Series of 50 and 500 zlotych printed with the date of 08.12.2017, and 12.01.2017 respectively. These are the reprints of the 2012 series, which was first introduced on 07.04.2014 for the 50 zlotych note, and the 500 zlotych was introduced later on 10.02.2017 (this first print is dated 16.02.2016). Poland has been a member of the European Union since 01.05.2004, and it is obvious that the government is not ready to give up their own identity, the zloty currency, by adopting the euro. With this decision, it enables the country to continue releasing commemorative banknotes, since the Pope John Paul ll series issued in 2006.
This is a Polish Rulers or Kings series, first introduced in 2014

Front - King John lll Sobieski (Polish: Jan lll Sobieski b.1629-1696). He took the reign as King of Poland in 1674 until his death in 1696, at the age of 66. He died of a heart attack. He was succeeded by Augustus ll. Also, printed on the front is the Coat of Arms of King John lll Sobieski.

Chief Treasurer - Marek Oles
Watermark - King John lll Sobieski
Dimensions - 151mm x 76mm
Back - Image of an eagle in a crown. The background is the Wilanow Palace situated in the Wilanow district of Warsaw (south of Warsaw). This building was once a Royal Palace and was built between 1677 and 1696. This palace was built for King John lll Sobieski, and I am not sure if he ever did live there as the completion date for this building was in 1696, the same year King John lll Sobieski died. The palace was converted to a museum in 1805, and is very popular with visitors, both locally and overseas.
