Never realised Danish and Oriental artifacts share so many similarities until I saw your postings here. Nice but rather expensive banknotes...LOL.
ReplyDeleteThanks alot for sharing paperbanknotes.
Hi Whycollect,
ReplyDeleteNot sure what you meant by Danish and oriental artifacts....LOL!
Yes, I agreed. This is one hobby that some time you just need to have a very deep pocket. I am glad that my Bank Manager is supporting me on this all the way LOL!.
Thanks for dropping by.
Cheers
The 'cockerel' on the reverse of the 100 kroner and the 'dragon' on the 200 kroner notes respectively look similar to the oriental cockerel and dragon.
ReplyDeleteHmm..banknotes are so interesting.
Expensive! No doubt about it, LOL.
And that's why we normally go for the lower denominations.
Thanks alot for sharing, paperbanknotes.
Hi paperbanknotes,
ReplyDeleteGot to seek your advise again.
Saw some British Armed Forces Banknotes on sale at a dealer's shop. What do you think? Are they popular among banknote collectors?
Thanking you in advance.
Hi Whycollect
ReplyDeleteI, personally, do not believe those BAF military notes are popular, but quite common too. I can't say much as I have not been following them, but I do believe that a few of those notes could be quite expensive. Have to check the standard catalogue to confirm that. In general, most of them are quite common. Just my 2 cents.
Hi paperbanknotes,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your advise.
Yeah, suppose better stay away from them, haha.
Most of the time, these odd looking banknotes just stood out among the rest when we looked through those banknotes being sold by the dealers.
Simply because they were odd looking or rather not normal compared to the rest.
Lucky for us to have experienced collectors like you here to guide us.
Probably may have to come back to you again because once in a while will encounter such novelties, haha.
Thanks a lot, paparbanknotes.
