This is a reprint of the 2009 issue. This note bears the signature of Debbie Crosbie, who is the Chief Operating Officer. A total of 30 million pieces were printed - worth 600 million pounds. This is the first Scottish note ever signed by a female in the history of Scottish banknotes since 17-07-1695. It is not sure why this note was not signed by David Duffy, the Chief Executive Office. Perhaps the order for the reprint was done prior to the appointment of David Duffy to the CEO position. David Duffy appointment was announced on 19.01.2015. If you look back on modern notes issued by the bank, you will notice that the title of the signatories changed from time to time between Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer.
